About the conference
Building on the Commission’s five annual CEO Cybersecurity Breakfasts, the Inaugural National Cybersecurity Conference 2026 will provide an expanded national platform for engagement among senior leaders and practitioners from Government, regulatory and security agencies, telecommunications operators, Internet Service Providers, financial institutions, academia, civil society and the private sector.
Scheduled for 11th – 12th August 2026 at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, the two-day conference is expected to convene approximately 250 delegates. The programme will feature keynote addresses, high-level panel discussions, plenary sessions, exhibitions and networking engagements focused on strengthening collaboration, cyber resilience, digital trust and the secure transformation of Uganda’s digital economy.
Uganda’s growing use of mobile connectivity, digital financial services, e-government platforms, cloud services and emerging technologies is creating new opportunities, but it is also increasing exposure to cybercrime, fraud, service disruption, data breaches and online harms.
This conference moves cybersecurity beyond a purely technical discussion and places it at the centre of governance, service continuity, economic growth and public trust.

The programme is organised around the policy, infrastructure, operational and human-capacity dimensions of national cyber resilience.
